About the Journal
The Journal of Applied Engineering Sciences and Technology (JAEST) (ISSN 2352-9873) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published in electronic and print versions by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University of Biskra, Algeria. Since 2026, the journal has published four issues per year.
- The Journal of Applied Engineering Sciences and Technology is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely available to readers without subscription or access fees.
- All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain the copyright to their published work. The CC BY 4.0 license permits sharing, copying, redistribution, adaptation, and reuse, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.
- JAEST does not charge article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. Publication in the journal is free of charge.
- The journal is currently indexed, registered, or discoverable through Google Scholar, Crossref, OpenAlex, Scilit, and Indexa.
- The journal welcomes original manuscripts in English presenting novel and previously unpublished research in the fields of applied engineering sciences and technology.
- JAEST also publishes special issues containing selected high-quality papers from national and international scientific conferences within the journal's scope. All submissions to special issues are subject to the journal's editorial and peer-review procedures.
